I have a problem and I'm about to lose my mind!!! My internet is soooooooooo slow and I don't know why. Each page takes at least 2 minutes to load. I've defragmented as best I can, I've run a virus scan and nothing was found. I've cleaned out my hard drive. The only thing I can think of is that I recently changed from Internet Explorer to Firefox--could this be the problem? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I need help!!

It sounds like its got to be your actual internet connection or your modem/router. Firefox pretty consistently loads faster than internet explorer, so that shouldn't be the problem. If you want to be sure, go someplace that has free wireless internet & see how quickly it goes. If it still goes very slowly then the problem is on your computer. If it goes quickly, then its your connection or modem. Do you guys have dial-up or cable internet?
Thanks, Sam!! Actually, the Comcast "guy" just came over and replaced our modem--it was old. Now we're back running fast again.
yay glad you are up and running...we are still on our trip will be for about 2 weeks...camping is fun but we break it up with hotel stops!! My feet can stand those showers only so much!! Love you girl! E
